Ye kya dekh rahe hain hum ! Our very own Salman Bhai Khan, not looking his buff best ? Now, whether it’s his long hibernation in Cuba (where he’s been shooting for Ek Tha Tiger) or his health issues, Salman has put on a visible bit of weight, and not in the most flattering spots. At a recent event in Mumbai, the actor’s biceps were not as taut as usual, his face seemed puffy and his physique heavier than usual.

Now, that’s quite a departure from the Khan who made “bare-chested” a genre in Bollywood. “Bhai hasn’t been working out,” a source close to the actor admitted. “Due to health problems and a packed schedule, he hasn’t been able to train properly. But he intends to shed the flab and get the perfect toned body in time to play a supercop in Dabangg 2.”

With the Dabangg 2 schedule looming ahead, Salman Khan has just about 10 days to get back into fit mode. The buzz is that he has already been put on a high protein diet and is working out twice every day. “It’s impossible for an actor to have a super-toned body all the time. But knowing the fitness freak Salman is, there’s every chance he’ll be back in shape within 10 days,” a celeb fitness trainer said. We sure hope so! After all, it wouldn’t do for his enemies to be fitter than Chulbul Pandey, will it ?

Salman Khan dressed casually in jeans and button down shirt to attend Ritesh Deshmukh’s brother Dheeraj’s wedding to Honey Bhagnani at Hotel Grand Hyatt in Kalina, Mumbai Monday afternoon, February 27, 2012.
