After Ek Tha Tiger, action is nothing new for Katrina Kaif, and in the remake of the Hollywood movie Knight And Day she will get to do some more daredevil acts. The film will have Hrithik Roshan in the role played by Tom Cruise. It’s official now, Katrina Kaif is finalized to play desi Cameron Diaz in Siddharth Anand’s action thriller -- an official remake of Tom Cruise’s Knight And Day. The film, yet untitled, will go on floors early next year, and will be produced by Fox Star India. The CEO of Fox Star Studio, Vijay Singh, while talking to a daily confirmed that Katrina has indeed been roped in for the film. He further explains why Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif are ideal for this sleek actioner, “The Hrithik-Katrina pairing in Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was well received by the audience. Besides, both of them are very popular with the youth.” Earlier, it was said that Katrina Kaif is confused whether to sign the film or not. But now as the reports are finally in, there are no doubts. When Siddharth Anand approached Hrithik Roshan, who fits the bill perfectly, he was not sure about the actress of his film. Later he approached Kat, who has done some good action sequences in Ek Tha Tiger, and to the director’s surprise, the actress agreed.
