DAVID Movie Trailer

The promo of Bejoy Nambiar’s David is finally out and it looks like one of those films that will leave an impact on your mind

Apart from the black and white effect used in the trailer of David, what really fascinates us is the way a series of interesting scenes is connected together to create a striking promo. This enthralling video gives a fair gist of what the movie is all about. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vinay Virmani and Vikram play the protagonists in the film; the one thing that really leaves us awestruck is the concept. A portrayal of three characters with the same name (David) belonging to different eras and different countries end up in such messy situations that all three of them are forced to take a critical, life-changing step. So if Neil Nitin Mukesh in his retro look and handle bar moustache is dealing with some serious stuff in London, Vikram and newcomer Vinay Virmani face their own demons in their individual heroic ways.

The film has been made in Tamil and Telugu as well and is slated to release on February 2013. But they are not identical. Bejoy tweeted about why the third David is missing in the Tamil version – the film stars only Vikram and Jiiva, he tweeted, “The third one (Neil) didn’t fit into the Tamil mileu. We would have to re imagine it completely, which wasn’t feasible.”
