Salman Khan back with Christmas dhamaka after 23 years!


Mumbai: Superstar Salman Khan is back with his Christmas dhamaka after 23 long years. It was in the year 1989, that Salman Khan had delivered a blockbuster hit Maine Pyaar Kiya, along with Bhagyashree. And now, he's all set to recreate the same magic with his upcoming movie Dabangg 2.

Salman Khan is known to churn out superhit movies during the festive season of Eid. Films like Wanted, Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, that got released during the Eid, had done wonders at the Box Office collections. Moreover, these films had entered the 100 crore club in very short time.

But, this time, Salman bhai has planned to take a twist with Dabangg 2. Directed by bro Arbaaz Khan, the sequel of Dabangg will be released on December 21, this year. His last Christman dhamaka Maine Pyaar Kiya, that had fetched INR66.92 crore (US$12.18 million) at the Box Office, turned out to be the biggest hit of 1989 and the second biggest hit of the 1980s, thus establishing Salman Khan's status in the industry.

The trailer of Dabangg 2 has created extreme stir all across the nation. Also, the songs have gone down really well with the audience. Witnessing this hype, it is expected that the movie might do similar wonders for Salman after 23 years.
