Kareena Kapoor’s character is very sensitive in Talaash

Kareena Kapoor will reprise her ‘Chameli’ character in her upcoming film Talaash. She will be playing a sex worker, yet again. According to Kareena, this character is one amongst her most sensitive and powerful.

“I play a prostitute, who is kind of an escort. It`s a very deep character. I have hopefully achieved a sensitive performance. It`s by far one of my most sensitive performances, I believe,” Kareena told reporters.

However, her role in Talaash is completely different from that of the character she played in Chameli.

” `Chameli` was totally different. It was very raw. The lingo and the language, body language and the outfit – everything was different. Here from head to toe, the performance, and everything is different,” she said.

Kareena added, just because Talaash allowed her to work with Aamir Khan again, is why she signed the film and that too on the dotted line.

“I don`t look at the project with commercial aspect. I wanted to work with Reema (Kagti) and wanted to work with Aamir again. I loved the role that was offered to me. This is one of the most powerful roles that I have done,” she said. “Reema comes across as a very strong director and a strong personality, but when you get to know her, she is a very sensitive girl and that is what she has brought about in her actors and in her film,” Kareena said about her director
