It seems the makers have found an ideal replacement for Katrina Kaif in Partner sequel.

Zareen Khan's new slim look seems to be taking her to places. The actress who was criticized for being overweight has lost oodles of weight. And if the buzz if to be believed, she is being considered as Katrina Kaif's replacement in the sequel of Partner.

Apparently David Dhawan's Partner 2 is supposed to go on floors next year. Zareen never liked the fact that she was tagged as a Katrina Kaif look-alike. However, her resemblance to the actress seems to be working in her favour now. It might just give her another chance to revive her career.

Zareen is presently making news for her sizzling hot avatar in Sajid Khan's Housefull 2. The actress is looking forward to do good films more than hot item numbers.

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is a fitness freak and loves to shows off those fabulous abs and bulging biceps, feels he has to work two to three times more than before to match the new generation.

"I have worked hard for this body. And today I am finding it difficult because however much I have worked in those days, that much these new kids are working out in today's date. So I have to work two-three times more," Salman said at the Cosmopolitan Friends Association event where he came to cheer physically challenged, abandoned and orphan children.

The actor, who has turned 46, says the more you age, the more hard you need to work out.

"When we are young people, used to forgive all your things and used to say he is a kid. That time we didn't even have to work hard. But now the more you grow, you have to work harder. You have to look younger; you have to be fitter, run faster, kick higher. All these things gives you trouble later," he said.

Salman, who set a trend of being fit in the showbiz, suggests the youth follow a fitness regime.

MUMBAI: The sequel to one of 2010's most popular films, Dabangg 2 would see Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha as husband and wife. The other members from the core cast, Vinod Khanna as Salman and Arbaaz's father and Mahie Gill as Arbaaz's wife are also back in the sequel.

And yes, so is Salman Khan's trademark Chulbul moustache.

Contrary to earlier plans, there will be no scaling down in Chulbul Pandey audacity, precociousness and cockiness just because he is now a householder.

According to sources the scriptwriter Dilip Shukla's initial plans of sobering down Chulbul Pandey's personality was effectually quashed by producer-director Arbaaz Khan.

Says the source, "Shukla was in favour of sobering down Chulbul Pandey in keeping with his married status. But Arbaaz knocked the proposal down. Everyone in the team including Salman felt Chulbul Pandey's USP was his brattiness and arrogance. So the move to scale down Salman's sassy attitude has been cut down."

The change, if any, would occur in Sonakshi's character. Since the main characters are now moving to a larger town in UP, namely Lucknow and Kanpur, Sonakshi will no longer be the gaon ki gori that she was in the first film.

Is the director Arbaaz Khan nervous?

Speaking exclusively to businessofcinema.com, Arbaaz replied, "Am I nervous? Should I be? Yes, there's a lot of excitement since a lot of hopes and expectations are built around the project. But it's not as if I am a novice to filmmaking. It's not as though I've gone from the cement business to filmmaking. I am from a family where cinema is a given. I understand cinema. And even in the first Dabangg film I was very hands-on. I wasn't just the producer."

Arbaaz says he spent almost a year on the script. "I wanted to get the script right. We had to make sure we were moving ahead and not just cashing in on a brand name. Luckily I've a fresh enthusiastic team to support me and God willing, Dabangg 2 will be even bigger than Dabangg

Rumours are rife that Salman Khan is experiencing health issues once again.

After the actor underwent a jaw surgery in the US, it was believed that he had completely recovered. However, now media reports suggest that the pain is back and Sallu might have to go under the knife all over again, the family vehemently denies that the star needs more medical attention.

“I must tell you very clearly that your news is far from the truth. This kind of news just disturbs the people concerned. Salman is absolutely fit and fine. I fail to understand why you people target us with such bogus news,” says father Salim Khan. But even in 2011, the news of Salman’s failing health first reached the media.

Last month, when Sallu was shooting in Cuba for Yash Raj Film’s Ek Tha Tiger, the actor had revealed that the cold weather had affected his nerves. His manager Vikas admits that Salman is on medication to keep the pain in check.

“Salman bhai is fine and on medication prescribed by doctors. By the grace of God, he is not going to undergo another surgery in the US. Some journos who have no other work keep raking up old stories over and over again. The story doing the rounds is cooked up,” he says
