Taking their successful partnership forward, Fox Star Studios and Vishesh Films, join hands to produce the third installment of the Murder franchise. The film also happens to mark the directorial debut of producer Mukesh Bhatt's son Vishesh Bhatt.

While their last joint venture Raaz 3, set a benchmark in the horror genre, the producers with Murder 3 this time around, promise to thrill audiences with the Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari starrer that tells the tale of the unraveling of a mysterious disappearance, all told in true Bhatt style.

Talking about the film's release, producer Mukesh Bhatt says," Murder 3 will release a day after Valentine's Day next year and we are very eager to see how the audiences lap up the latest film in the Murder franchise...the film is especially close to me since my son Vishesh makes his directorial debut with it."

Optimistic about their next offering, adds producer Mahesh Bhatt, "Murder 3 will take the Murder brand into another league. It will give it the halo of 'respectability.'"

Murder 1 and 2 had made a splash at the box office and with the third offering we aim to raise the bar -We are very happy to associate with Vishesh Films yet again and hope to recreate the Raaz 3 magic."

After spelling magic with Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfi!, Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu are again teaming up for Basu’s next project which is a biopic on legendary singer and actor Kishore Kumar. To get into the role and to portray Kishore da, Ranbir has to put on weight. For a while, there has been a talk about the project and it was only recently, Ranbir gave his nod to UTV Pictures.

The role will require extensive research and preparation. Ranbir will require six months for preparation and the shooting will take one and a half year to complete. Ranbir will sport three different looks of Kishore Kumar as he will be playing three Kishore from the age of 19 till 58. The story doesn’t end here, the ‘Barfi boy will gain around 12 to 15 kgs to play older Kishore.

Ranbir has to undergo screen test for the role, "We did some look test of young Kishore Kumarji on him (Ranbir). We have gone through several such processes before zeroing in on him to play Kishoreda on screen," Basu said.

Kishore Kumar's son Amit Kumar will be closely associated with the film as it is very close to his heart and he will also sing few Kishore Kumar’s song.

Four heroines may be finalized opposite Ranbir Kapoor as Kishore Da had 4 wives namely Ruma Ghosh, Madhubala, Yogita Bali and Leena Chadavarkar. "The film will have madness of Kishoreda. I am lucky that this came to me, UTV was planning this movie, Shomit had written a script. I am a big fan of him. I think he was the most colourful person, so full of life. That's why we thought of making a biopic on his life. It will be a very entertaining film," Basu promised.

Talaash is a crime thriller and is Aamir Khan’s first mainstream release after the 2009 blockbuster 3 Idiots. As usual, a lot is expected from Talaash as Aamir Khan never disappoints. Talaash is directed by Reema Kagti and also features Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee and Nawazuddin Siddique in the main lead.

Aamir Khan is known for his innovative promotions, but this time actor opted for a more quieter way of promoting the new film. He felt extensive promotions could bring out the suspense of the film.

Fans call him bhai or Salman Bhai in love and out of respect but Salman Khan hates people address him as Bhai because the superstar feels that only his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail Khan have the right to call him bhai. In a candid conversation, Salman said that he dislikes people calling him Bhai.

“All sorts of idiots call me that. Even rank strangers. Not everyone has the right to call me bhai. (Gets animated, mimics a kid) Kids call me, `aye Salman how you doing...Mr Khan... oye Salman Khan’, I love it. But when some people call me bhai I think they are faking it. I hate it when some people call me Sallu. But when they call me that out of love, it shows. It`s the tone that matters. Only Arbaaz and Sohail should call me bhai. Besides, my parents have given me a name, it`s a superb name -Salman Khan and I prefer people calling me Salman. I think this `Sallu` was started by Jackie (Shroff). Now he calls me Salley!”

‘Dabangg 2’ will hit the theatre of December 21st and Salman said that he is under immense pressure as the film had to match up with the original blockbuster ‘Dabangg’. From Abhinav Kashyap, Arbaaz Khan has taken the responsibility to make the film masaladar.

Giving credit to brother Araaz, Salman said, “When Abhinav came to us, it was a very dry art kind of film. The kind of films they (the brothers) make. In fact now, his brother (Anurag) has changed his style. He has now got that masala touch. There were no songs earlier in Dabangg, and we had to change that. We kept improvising. The film achieved a certain form because of Arbaaz. But Abhinav contributed as well.

Abhinav realised that if you want to make a saleable film, you need a commercial touch, you need songs. That`s when Arbaaz came into the picture. But then Abhinav decided to opt out of the sequel.”

‘Dabangg 2’ has not yet released and ‘Dabangg 3’ is on the card, “Of course, we have already thought about it. We will go back to his past, the making of Chulbul Pandey,” said Khan.

Salman Khan had revealed the first look of Dabangg 2 on his show Bigg Boss 6. The actor is yet again, all set to release the most awaited song of the film, Fevicol Se, featuring Kareena Kapoor on the reality show, in the Saturday episode.

DABANGG 2 is all set for release in less than a month from now and it is hardly surprising that as a character, 'Chulbul Pandey' doesn't quite need any introduction since it has already been established amongst audience in a big way for last couple of years. One is tempted to ask producer-director Arbaaz Khan that as a team which is basically taking the legend forward was it about sticking to the basics for what had already worked in a major way? Or was there any endeavor to bring in some newer traits as well?

We are true to that character. Period. However what I can say is that Salman Khan won't look like someone who was seen in READY, BODYGUARD or EK THA TIGER. In DABANGG 2, he is 'Chulbul Pandey' and that's the way things are going to be. Yes, from setting perspective it is a new scenario which means a new approach has to be drafted towards presenting Chulbul in this situation. Now that by itself is challenging because you have to keep the sanctity of the character right and still not give to audience what may seem like a repeat of what they have already seen,'' details Arbaaz.

He goes on to promise that DABANGG 2 would live up to its title and have everything that goes with larger than life image of Salman Khan.

Renowned documentary filmmaker Mike Pandey has roped in superstar Amitabh Bachchan and John Abraham for his upcoming feature film "Return of The Tiger".

The 90-minute feature film is based on the extinction of tiger and draws a link between human and tigers.

"I am happy that two Bollywood names are attached to my film because they have wider reach to the audience and that is what we need. What is more encouraging to see is that they offered to be a part of it. Bollywood now understands the importance of such documentaries and is ready to work on such social causes," Pandey said.

He has already begun shooting the film and he hopes that the culture of documentary is revived in the country.

"We understand that commercial movies are in demand but what we are asking for is a 10 minute slot before featuring films on screens. There is a demand for documentaries amongst audience just that we don't have a platform to promote them.

We are asking Govt to help us and provide us a slot on Doordarshan," he added.

Pandey has won over 300 awards for his work to spread awareness about biodiversity and species conservation, including helping protect species such as the Whale Sharks, Elephants, Tigers and Vultures.

His last movie “3 Idiots”, released in 2009, saw Aamir Khan play a fun loving character. The actor now sheds his happy-go-lucky nature for his latest film Talaash. He is all set to give his fans a thrilling experience as Talaash hit theaters worldwide on November 30, Friday.

Directed by Reema Kagti, Talaash looks very promising, loaded with drama, thrill and suspense. This is the second time Aamir Khan is essaying the role of a police officer, first being “Sarfarosh”. In Talaash, the actor sports a mustache and looks very very convincing as a cop in that smart khaki uniform. Rani Mukherji is a housewife and she is seen all decked up in saris and bindis. Kareena Kapoor, the hottie of the film, is seen in short dresses and is big time glamorized, with different hair styles and heavy make up. ‘Dabangg 2’ shooting wrapped up and it’s movie time for Sonakshi Sinha and her mentor Salman Khan. Recently, Salman and Sonakshi were spotted entering the suburban theatre in Mumbai where Ang Lee’s highly acclaimed film, ‘Life of Pi’ was screened. Sonakshi who bonds well with Salman Khan owes her success to Sallu as he is the one who gave her the the first break in ‘Dabangg’.
